Where do you put a generator in a fifth wheel? I have a small 1993 23' Sunrise by Cobra low profile and would like to add a generator. Where do you put it that it would be safe with the fumes and all. I was told I had to mount it in the bed of my truck but that doesn't make sense to me. Thank you for this forum - by the way!

i have a travel tr. and i went to a metal fabricating place and had them weld mine on the back bumper and also made a box for it with 3 sides that i can raise up and still run it if it is raining. they are hinged from the top. cost 365.00 happy trails bc

Do you happen to have a picture of your generator set-up? I'm curious about how the 3 sides work. You say that they are hinged from the top. Of what. Sounds like a great idea and hopefully, I'll be able to use it.

I just purchased a Generator today. I am planning a trip to Alaska and needed to take one with me. I feel I got a real good deal. I got it on line at GeneratorDepot.us. It is called a "Pro II RV" no need for electric adapter. best of luck...
