A friend of mine has been selling motorhomes in AZ for over 30 years. I asked him that question last year and in his opinion it was Winnebago. Now he sells a lot more expensive coaches than these, but he insisted they have less repair costs and are well built for the money. We have a 36' 1997 Dolphin w/one slide that has been extremely dependable for us. We're looking to get a newer coach. Wanna buy ours? We're selling it for $30,000.00 and it is in good condition. Engine and trans have only 63,000 miles and engine oil is changed every 3,000 and trans fluid and filter every 8,000. It just got new brakes all around with 2 new rotors.
I am looking for a bunk model .Thank you anyway. Also food for thought .I see alot and mean alot of old Winnies at the camp grounds ( gas models) . We drove an Eclipse with Bunks ( diesel ) nice coach .Fall back, when you drove the driver mirror rattled and pushed the wind right into the crease of the opening of drivers window.Very Annoying and somewhat suprising for a company that has a LARGE R+D department. I hope Winnebego Reads this because I was just about to sign the papers.NO Thank You . It would be like water torcher with white lines and crazy drivers .... I am selling my 1982 Holiday Rambler on E Bay No Reserve.
