Pull toy car

I recently bought a Mini Winnie and want to haul a small pull toy car behind it. I thought I could pull a manual shift car behind it in neutral with all wheels down. A friend said no. I've had a number of RVs but never pulled a car so this is new territory for me. Any advice?
