I would like to share with those of us who RV alone. OK I do take my dog Maddie with me.. But other than that.. I am alone. I would like to meet with others like me..
Lost home in divorce and want to be a fulltime RVer. I am 59 yr old single female (with a Maltese and a Bischon). Need any information I can get on a female single RVing. I had looked at the Aliner Ease and am interested in something like that. Need any advice on where to stsart, wehre to live cost to live, etc. Many thanks!
I'm single and 71 yrs old . is a aliner ease a m.h. or a t.t. or what. I'm a good shopper tell me what you are looking for and how much you have to spend and ill will look for you. b.c.
A Aliner ease would be close quarters to Full-time in.. but it all depends on the amount of space you require to live in. I have lived in Three RV's so far. All fifth wheels. For living space I like the Fifth Wheel best. I have upgraded to a 35 footer with three slides. For me the living space is the most important. I don't care for Kitchens in the rear. As I am not in the kitchen that much and want my living room area to be as large as possible. The bedroom space doesnt' have to be all that much for me. Since All I do is sleep there. Now the bathroom area... is something else. I need a seperate toilet area.. one that doesnt feel like I am wearing the walls...and a tub/shower comb. Mine is a very small tub but I can soak if I want. Down size of a fifth wheel..? You have to have something to pull it with.. that is why some like Travel Trailers. I like Motor Homes both Class A & C. but again.. down side? You need a vehile once you get to where you are going..so you need to tow your vehicle.. I also don't like the fact I have a engine to deal with.. being alone..it bothers me.. I would really think about what your needs are first , before buying a RV..and your budget will play a big factor in that also.
Becky, Do you plan on working while you full time? OR are you retired? Do you know about Workkamping? I manager a RV park. So I work Full time. And I love it! Let me know if you what to know more!
I have limited funds and my vehicle will only pull 3500 lbs. Are there any other SWF looking for a roommate? Or are there any RVs on site that are for rent? Maybe trying this out for a while would give me some good experience at RVing. I would want to work, I love the idea of working at an RV camp. Got any suggestions?
Some places do offer RV to live in monthly. But I think that is costly. I know ours are $720.00 a month! You could be making a NEW RV payment and the lot rent for that! IF you workkamp you can work for your site. Some places offer money too. Keep in mind that if you are buying a used RV, most places will not allow anything older than 10 years in the park. Some do make exceptions if it is in great condition. Go small if you want.. and it will let you see if you like it. ( I had no doubt!) The lifestyle is so laid back.. and if you like to meet people then this is for you! Join Workampers first and look at the jobs out there and see if you find one that might be a good fit for you.. go from there! Good Luck!
