I have an ancient Continental Bed-over-Cab Shell Camper; the company has been out of business for years. I consider it my home away from home (live in a 34 foot tow-trailer RV, fastened down). I am finished with taking care of the sick and elderly (they have all passed away) and finished college this past May 2009 at the age of 67 1/2 years of age.
Would like to start RVing full time and working on the family history book that I started years ago. Used to do tent camping and hiking, but cannot do it anymore due to car accident. Still love to camp and enjoy the out-of-doors. Did a lot of War Between the States Re-enacting for almost 8 years. Enjoy doing primitive type camping; try to get most of my food stuff wherever I camp. Studied up on how they lived in the mountains years ago.
Have traveled ever since I was 2. First in an old Spartanette 28 footer; then settled down to a house but still traveled but did rentals. Then my first husband and I converted an old school bus into an RV and lived in it for several years while he traveled in construction. When remarried, that is when I got into back-packing and re-enacting. Now I am back to camping on wheels.
Would like to eventually get a Class B or Van Conversion to travel in. Do not want anything too big, just for me and my little dog Rosie. If you know of anything like the above, give me a 'toot'.
