We're members of workampers.com but have not taken the plunge yet. There are other, more pressing situations that take up our time and do not permit us to apply for a position. But one day, we will be somewhere, living in our 5th wheel and working to help meet some of the expenses. Thanks for this opportunity to join a group and share some thoughts and suggestions on how to get started.

What type of jobs are the most profitable on the road? I want to go full-time RVing but will need to subsidize my current income to do so. Any suggestions?

We have been accepted to work at a new Jellystone park starting April 1. We will be in Horn Lake, MS (Audubon Point Jellystone RV Park) and we are looking forward to the challange. We will try to start and keep a journal of our workamper experiences since this is our first position. Maybe we will post a few pictures of the park and some of the events. Keep us in your prayers that we will be in the center of the Lord's will.

Deborah, check out these sites:

http://www.workamper.com/     - membership site, a very popular site that many workampers use to find jobs.  Membership is about $40/year

http://www.work-for-rvers-and-campers.com/   - free site that lists jobs.
