THE Social Network for the RV Lifestyle

I currently have an online store and I attend shows were I sell my goods. I was with Shure Pets at the beginning of the year and quickie learned that it was not the road I wanted to be on for me even though I loved the idea behind it other than it was like Mary Kay and Avon. So my husband told me to go looking for venders that I could purchase my things from instead. So for about I have been doing pretty well with my little online business and doing the shows here in San Antonio, TX I also currently have 2 booths where I sell my things from and I will have to tell you that I think the best customers are the ones that like to tell there friends about you. Once I do a show I usually get about 1 to 2 calls saying there friend told them about me or the customer needs something else they wanted to get at the show and is ready to get it know. I don’t get many hits from my booths that actually purchase things from it.

What kind of business do some of you guys have?

What have you done to make it a success?

How long have you guys been in business for yourselves?

You have a very good business. People spend more money on pets than new parents spend on their first born. Might I suggest that you add a calendar on your web site letting people know where you will be and when. Also your site has several errors that make it difficult to use and to read (I use Mozilla as a browser). Do you pass out brochures and business cards at your show that have your web address on it?

I've worked online as a web developer, research and writing, for over 10 years. I also host web sites. Business has been slow of late but I have a small pittance of regular income on which I rely. I have several ideas for working on the road though and I plan to try them all.

The products on your web site are appearing and seem to be fairly priced. Good luck to you!
Well I am still working out pricing on some items. I do know that my Treats are a bit price, they are all Natural and organic no wheat and very good for the pampered pooch that has problems with digesting regular teats. Usually I give 20% OFF on the treats do to the cost, and it's not really an advertised sell I mainly do it at the shows and for my customers that purchase at the booths when I am there. I don't have a Buy Now button do to my pricing because we are working on that to see what price works better currently.

Most of my vest is handmade to fit and thoughts I do have to actually change the pricing online. Most of them range at the shows from 22.50 to 20.00 to even 7.50.

It's just that the website is so frustrating for me I have a total of about 70+ pages to work throw since I did the page all on my own. I am not a web designer and I do need help with it.

Yes I do hand out cards at my shows and I don't have a calendar page but on the Main Page I have the Events listed. Currently there is not one for next month planed I am still waiting to hear from the event planner for the date. Usually when he calls to put me on the list for the next show I change the main page and the others. I also have a VERY BIG ad on their page that helps too. I advertise in my own frunt lawn with a BIG yard sign that one lady actually called thinking I was a vet. When you click on the different header icons to go to different places I have the event there so they can see it just about everywhere when they are looking on the pages. I also know that the pages load slow and I have made the pictures smaller too but I can't help that right now.

My Shampoos are also all natural and the price for the 18oz has been selling very well for the $8.00 EXSPEASHALY the oatmeal I can't keep that hardly in stock very long.

Any suggestions are welcomed. Even if you want to suggest a price for something I am very much opened and can at least try it does not hurt at all to try something.
