Angela,
I take that you guys are in Santa Rosa, Ca.? I was in Santa Rosa a few years ago riding my motorcycle in the area. I rode both wine valleys and the mountains in between, rode down to Yosemite for a couple days and rode the coast highway up to Redwood City and back to Santa Rosa. A wonderfull three weeks out there. I'm an artist and did some work for B.R. Cohn Winery in Sonoma Valley. That's what brought me out there.
I don't blame Ray on the gas issue. We also keep the trips short and gas is much cheaper here in Louisiana. We're at $3.89 a gallon. Diesel is about $4.50. Ray makes sense. Gary
Oh so glad you made it to California and Santa Rosa no less! I haven't been to Yosemite in YEARS! I guess it's about 4-6 hours from us. Yes I am familiar with the name of the Winery...there are so many.
Funny I just watched a documentary on Katrina and I was depressed after hearing that there little help for these people. What a travesty!
Angela,
I urge you not to get a by-pass. I can turn you on to the best kept secret ever. I'm not on the diet any more and I'm still losing weight. I lost all this weight in less than six months and I promise you....I was never hungry. Hard to believe, huh? Don't believe me? My GP, my cardiologist and my wife will attest to this. Not only do you lose the weight but you don't put it back on like every other diet I have been on including Weightwatchers. This is the cure for obesity. It works darlin'. My cardiologist examined me last week and reduced and eliminated all kinds of drugs. He knocked on the exam room door, walked in, looked at me, apologized and turned and walked out. I yelled at him that he had the right room. He was amazed. he said I was in his 1% club. He said, every time he advises a patient to lose some weight, usually 20 or 30 pounds, he really mens 60-80 lbs.. He told me in January to lose weight or he was recommending me for by-pass or dropping me from his patient list. I said, when I come back, you'll be pleased. This is a much healthier alternative. Too many chances for infections and other complications. I implore you to try anything but surgery. My sister had by-pass a few years ago and she's back to her old weight because she never changed her old ways. Up to you, darlin'. Gary
