Someone greeted me and my wife when we joined MyRVer, so we are returning the favor. Welcome aboard. We have several things in common: 1. We have a Montego Bay 5th Wheel, 2. We have a son who lives in Burlington, NC and 3. We are part-timers as well. I see Burlington is about 100 miles NE of Terrell.
Yes. Linda went on North Mississippi Walk-to-Emmaus #78 and I went on Walk #79, in Grenada, MS. That would be years 1995 and 1996. Since then, we have worked in various positions
for several walks. We especially love being Kitchen Coordinators for the entire weekend and we do just that at least three times a year. We also work Chrysalis, Chrysalis Crossroads, and we have worked Kairos. How about you and Tom? Has your Tom been on a walk? He deserves to go if he hasn't.
Linda and I live just a few miles NW of Ethel, MS. We join with you in prayer for your husband. Maybe one day he will surprise you and attend a church service with you, and it could be on that day he will hear the "good news" about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. And how the angels will rejoice when he accepts Jesus as his salvation. You don't have to push, merely suggest and then watch what the Holy Spirit does in his life. In the meantime, have a Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year. May God travel with you on your trip to Texas.
We are happy that your Christmas was joyous as you celebrated with family and friends the birth of Jesus Christ. Our family is really scattered: a twin sister in Deleware, a sister is New Jersey, a daughter in Maryland, a son in North Carolina, two sons in Mississippi, a granddaughter in Virginia. So we sent Christmas to DE, MD, NJ and NC. We have had Christmas with one son and his family in MS and this week we are going to have Christmas and celebrate New Years with the other son in MS. Lot of traveling. But to see everyone is our joy. Maybe we will have time to travel north to see the rest of the family this coming year. As you ready for your trip south, keep focused on the one who keeps us in His everlasting arms and stay safe.
