i would love to make the trip but my job would not allow me that much time off. i'll be retiring in about 3 years, after that i will have the time to be on the road for extended periods. i'm hoping my first trip will be to mexico around rocky point just below phoenix.rv camping in mexico is pretty cheap.

Nancy - I just noticed a reply to another RVer about Cor de lane, Idaho. I've always wanted to go there. Is that on the agenda for the westward travel in July / Aug? That would be wonderful.

I couldn't find where your message to me posted so I could respond so I emailed you from the site. Worked out okay and I will definitely try both those campgrounds. Did you notice lots of bugs? Cockroaches? I hate those things. I like milder climates rather than the high humidity of the southern states. Love it out west - dry heat. I love southern California.
