Here are some options..Class C..this is very nice vehicle that you drive. A bed is over the cab and most have a seperate bedroom also. If you are traveling alone you can use the over the cab storage area for storage! You can tow your car behind them. They have a restroom with shower and small kitchen. some storage also underneath. zSome have slide outs also , which help with room!
Class A . These are also driven. Usually a lot larger than the Class C. Lots of storage underneath. No over head cab...bedroom in back.. shower/bathroom, larger kitch and living area. You can also Tow a vehicle. These cost more ( but there are some high priced class C's out there!) Downside..you need to maintain the engine just like a car..I don't care for this.
FIfth Wheel- My choice! More room to live in.. lots of underneath storage.. bedroom UP in the Fifth wheel part. I have a full size closent..double doors...dressing table..bathroom with shower...large kitchen living room area. I have three slide outs. Which make the living area really roomy. Downside,,,,you need a truck to pull it..
Travel Trailer- Can be towed with a car..or van . depending on size. You can get alot of room in one of there. All one level. Can get slides.
Another option is a Class B, this is a conversion Van. Very small. Good to travel in. But it would be the only vehicle you have, so you would have to pull it in and out of your site if your siteseeing..
So as you can see.It all depends on your needs, and your budget. If possible , go to a RV show. If not go to at least a RV dealer and look at their new and used RV's. Don't buy the first one you see. If possible you might even rent something you think you like. As around. Look and ask questions!
Good Luck!
