If you own an RV, are you a full-time, part-time, or occasional RVer?
Not Applicable
From who or what dealership did you buy your RV?
We're shopping for a good deal right now for a new ford F150 supercab, XLT, & a good size Travel Trailer so we can finance the whole thing for 15 years or more.
So if anyone out there knows of a great deal, we'd like to hear about it.
We're both on Social Security Disability, so we're counting on The Lord to send a blesing our way. Things haven't been that great along the way, but The Lord manages to keep us getting the things we need at the time we need them, so we Praise Him for that!!
Before you decide on the truck, decide what type of trailer you want, then determine the wet weight of the trailer (after you load all the water, propane, luggage, toys, clothes, etc). Now you will have an idea of the size of truck you need. I have found that I always need more truck than I realize. Do this first, since you don't own your truck yet. You should also check out the rv.com site for more information. Good luck! It is a buyers' market, but be aware: look at the design, layout, then ALL the other stuff the trailer is made from. Many people who are new to RVing forget to really check out details of the trailer. When you find the trailer you "think" you want, talk to the dealer and get permission to really check it out. By this I mean to take a picnic lunch into the trailer and stay for a few hours. Yo u will get a better feel for the fit of the trailer for you and your family.
