- What type of RV do you own?

- In what city and state are you based?
- San Antonio, TX. but visiting children between St. Louis, MO. We sold our permanent home and moved into our RV in order to visit children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and run our business.
Work, retirement, work
In 2000 I retired from at&t spending years in computer sales and marketing. Once at&t purchased another computer company I transferred to the telecommunications division again working in sales, marketing, government affairs and customer service.
After my short retirement I worked as an IT consultant to Monsanto Chemical
Co. in St. Louis. I was recruited away by SBC Telecom to manage a marketing project of sport stadium advertising and logo recognition. This group was absorbed into SBC Corporate after only seven months. I was then able to transfer to SBC Government Affairs in Houston, TX. where I spent five great years working with the State Legislature, U.S. Congressmen and Senators as well as community leaders, chambers of commerce and economic development corporations.
In addition, I was able to work with charitable organizations guiding them to receive well deserved operational grants as well as student scholarships.
But finally, as with all good things it came to an end with the purchase of at&t by SBC bringing back together the mother company and the child into one.
With this change it was time to move on and form our own company working with small and medium size businesses. Our objective was to locate, evaluate and expose over spending within various sectors of the business and return the business to profitability. A great opportunity for all concerned.
Due to family responsibilities we closed our business and purchased our first Class A RV within which we will operate our new Internet business and potentially a very unique and creative business.
One of our Internet businesses will be called (once all of the legal aspects are resolved) "Artisians in RV's." Hopefully I will be able to provide a vehicle for those RV'ers who have special artistic talents to sell their works via the Internet. This should open up an entirely new market place for us and provide another avenue for financial security while on the move in our RV's.
If anyone out there has an artistic talent that wants to place their product onto the Internet with other RV'ers please let me know.
