Really New Newbie

Hi everyone! I just joined, and my wife Kathy and I are planning to "hit the road" after we finish up searching for that "used Travel Trailer" that matches our budget and style! (Could be awhile!) But, we are looking to sell our home and become "Debt Free" (ala Dave Ramsey) first! Maybe a ways down the road, but we have to start somewhere. Are there CB Channels RV'rs use? When Kathy and I took a road trip via car, we use Ch 19 (truckers)...and going from OKC to Colorado it saved our lives being as it was during an ice storm (over Thanksgiving a few years back) in the mountains!

I noticed some other "OKIES" just became Newbies too!! Welcome!!

I am so proud of the way they are managing their money. Anyway, I am new to this site and a former Texas gal, currently living in North Carolina. I can only get away on weekends right now but enjoy visiting local campsites. I try to get back to Texas every year or two to visit relatives.
